How Do Safelists Works? Are They Effective?

Yes! absolutely, if you know how to use it properly

If you are new to online marketing and don't know what the heck is 'Safelists' or 'Safelists Marketing, it's really simple. It's a website where a whole bunch of real people have agreed to received email ads from other people. This way when you send your ads to safelist programs, you will not be accused of spam. When you sign up, you have to validate both 'subscribe' and 'contact' email address.

Contact Email Address: This is the email address where the safelist admind/owner can contact you for updates or news about the safelist program.

Subscribe Email Address: This is the email address where you will be receiving all the ads from other safelist members.

There are two kinds of safelist programs.

(1) Credit based ( click here to see example of credit based safelist )

These type of safelist uses credits in order to send your ads. If you don't have any credits in your account, you can't send your ads... period. You can either buy the credits or click a special link within the ad to get credits. The value of credits on each email ad varies from program to program. Credits based safelists have proven to be more effective than regular safelists because members that can't afford or won't buy credits will open and read more email ads.

(2) Standard (click here to see example of standard safelist)
These type of safelist doesn't require credits to send your ads, you simply log into your account, type your ad, click send and wala! your ads is being sent to hundreds and thousands of inboxes.

Each type safelists have 2 types of memberships FREE and PRO.

Free members can only send once a week, once a day sometimes twice a day.

PRO members pay a monthly fee which allows you to email upto 3-4 times a day. Pro members in a credit based gets x amount of credits into their account depending on the level of Pro memberships.

Safelists such as Adtactics Do Not accept auto-submissions which makes it more responsive compare to those that don't. Members have to log-in to the main site, they will be exposed to banner ads or text ads.

Since it's almost impossible to join hundreds of safelists, using a safelist submitter makes it a little bit easier and you can reach more audience.

Sad Day For Canadian Hockey Fans

Canada lost 2-0 to Russia in a very tight checking game but Russia scored a power play goal early in the third period untill they made it 2 zip when they scored an empty net goal near the end of the third period.

I had high hopes for the Canadian team to get to the medal rounds but after losing to swiss cheese team (Switzerland) I had my doubts. Overall the canadian team didn't really play well and they don't deserved to get to the medal round. The Russian looked much faster and had more talent than our Canadian team.

If you are Canadian hockey fan like me, today is a very sad and dissappointing day indeed.

Oh well, can't win them all besides there's always next time which will be right here in my home town of Vancouver, BC Canada where we will be hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Hope to see you then.

Submitter Works !

Yesterday, I sent out my first ad using a safelist submittter and today I checked my inbox and saw that I had 2 signups to my lead capture page. Considering that I only broadcasted my ad to 200 safelists that's not bad.

At least I know now that using a safelist submitters does work, even though 2 sign ups doesn't seem much but hey! I will take it. Someone, somewhere saw my ad clicked it then signed up, that's the only confirmation I need to maybe continue this service.

I've also learned that the safelist submitter that I'm using does indeed have an auto validator which means that when you sign up to hundreds of safelist each one will send you an email validation code that you have to click, the auto validator does just that, it will automatically validate ALL of your validation emails. How did I miss that ? could've save myself alot of
time and energy.

The other thing I have overlooked using this safelist submitter from MassiveFFA is that when I send out my ad over 60 % of the safelist in database still don't send out my ad and couldn't figure out why. When I read my report I see a whole bunch of messages that says ' can't login'.

So I spent half my days off to sit down and logged in manually to each one of the safelist. So after 2 1/2 hours later I sent out my ad and waited for my report to hit my inbox and what I was saw was totally unbelievable!! Wow..that's all I said.

As I was scrolling down to see the report, I noticed that over 80 % of the 200 safelist that I sent my ad to was successful, my ad was sent to over 80,000 inboxes compare to a tricle to what I was doing before. The clickthru went thru the roof and my adsence revenue started to increase too as my ad was leading them to my blog. I think I made a whopping $3.50 in adsence revenue that day.

So if you are thinking of joining an autosubmitter service, make sure it the software logs you in into each safelist program otherwise you have to do it manually which can take hours. It wouldn't do you any good if your ads gets sent out to hundreds of safelist sites if you are not logged in. You have to be logged-in in order for your ads to be sent through the system.

Gotta love trial and error eh?

Safelist Submitters

Getting high quality traffic are not cheap and if you a tight wad online marketer like me you have to find ways to get it cheaper and one way of getting cheap traffic to any website is using a'Safelist'. Safelists are designed for marketers to send their ad to other marketers without being accused of spam because safelists members have mutually agreed to receive ads from other members. Kind of like 'you read my ads and I will read yours' agreement.

The main problem of using safelist is that some people don't read the email messages at all because they are using a service called Safelist Submitters. It's main functions include joining hundreds of safelist programs and sending your ads to ALL of them with one click of a mouse. Most safelist submitters will routinely clean up your POP3 inboxes and send your ads on a daily basis automatically.

Safelist memberships varies from safelist to safelist but if a safelist program has been around for a while, chances are they have more than a couple of thousands of members. So you can imagine if only half of them send their email ads daily, your inbox could literally be flooded just from one safelist program, if you belong to hundreds of safelist, you could get one thousand emails daily. That's why you need inbox cleaner, it makes it so easy and convient to have your inbox empty everyday automatically.

Massive FFA which I'm using right now does have it's own safelist submitter service that cleans up my POP3 inbox every hour 24 hours a day. I'm allowed to have 50 different mailbox, but I'm only using 2 for now.

The only thing I don't like about safelist submitters is that you still have to manually validate (it means clicking) every email from hundreds of safelist programs that you will be joining. You think they will automate that process too? go figure. I guess I still have to do some work.

So far I have validated over 250 emails or safelist programs in about 3 days. Folks ! that's alot of work. But once I complete the entire validation process, everything should be smooth from here. Today, I get to blast my ads for the first time using the safelist submitters. Yey !

That's it for now, till next time.

Massive FFA

This past week I'm been sending email ads to Massive FFA. It's a direct
e-mail marketing services which comes with several benefits.

The main feature of Massive FFA is the ability to send your e-mail message to about 3,000 prospects daily for $10 bucks a month. It wasn't the affordable price that attracted me but it was the marketing tools that came with it including the safelist submitter, autoresponder account, search engine submitter and other goodies.

So far the results has been dissappointing. After 4 days of sending my message to 3 thousands leads everyday, no one signed up to a program I've been promoting for over a year called Lifestylenetworker. The main purpose of this website is to capture leads so I can follow with them later with more info about my opportunities. This type of website is commonly called 'lead capture page' or 'blind capture page' because you don't really know what kind of business opportunity they are talking about.

I will give Massive FFA a month or two in order to explore it's full potential before cancelling my subscription. I will keep you posted.

My First Blogging Attempt

Wow! I can't believe it, I have finally done it, posting and creating my first blog. I've been trying to do this for a long time now and always kept putting it off.

The main purpose of this blog is to share my personal experience in starting an online home based business and earning a part-time income. My goal is to quit my full time job as Cashier at River Rock Resort and hopefully earn enough money to travel all over the world.

I've been involved in online mareketing for several years now so I've learned a lot that I can start focusing and get really serious about it. There's so much junk, scams, over hyped bogus claims on programs that alot of people are being misled and losing a lot of their hard earned money.

I will shed some light into some of the scams so that people will not fall for the same crap I experienced in the past.

Cordially yours,

Paul Penafiel
